Whether you use your real estate license to gain the skills you need for a full-time or part-time career, to capitalize on investment opportunities, or to fully understand the finer points of one of the largest financial transactions you’ll ever undertake, NOW is the time to discover what a real estate license can do for you!
In order to practice real estate in the state of Pennsylvania, you must complete two prescribed courses -- Real Estate Fundamentals and Real Estate Practice -- before you sit for the exam.
We have developed our pre-licensing program with your success in mind. The program includes everything you need to pass the licensing exam -- the first time!
Requirements for taking the Real Estate Licensing Exam:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent
- Must pass both Real Estate Fundamentals (30 Hours) and Real Estate Practice (45 Hours), with a final grade of 75 or better for each course
- Must complete an exam application through PSI Exams (www.psiexams.com), submit your transcripts, and pay a $49 examination fee
To obtain a real estate license, the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission requires a criminal background check.
