The real estate license renewal process is now open on the Pennsylvania Licensing System (PALS). The Pennsylvania State Real Estate Commission has emailed licensees to notify them that renewals are being accepted and must be completed by May 31, 2024.
For the renewal process:
- Agent renewals can’t be completed until their broker’s license is renewed.
- Update your profile. Log into the Pennsylvania Licensing System (PALS) – and make sure your information is accurate.
- Complete your 14 hours of CE. All licensees must complete the 14-hour continuing education requirements, including the three-hour mandatory class required by the SREC, prior to renewing their licenses. Visit the Greater Lehigh Valley Real Estate Academy course calendar for plenty of last-minute offerings.
- New agents should create an account in PALS. New licensees are required to take specific classes for their first continuing education cycle. Visit the Greater Lehigh Valley Real Estate Academy course calendar for the final offerings before May 31 of the New Licensee General Module and the New Licensee Residential Module.
- Renewals must be completed online by Friday, May 31. If you miss the May 31 deadline, the SREC considers the license expired and you must cease practice immediately or be subject to possible discipline.
