Melanie McLane is a practicing appraiser, broker and educator. With over 34 years in the business, she has vast experience in all aspects of real estate. She devotes most of her time to teaching, writing and consulting with real estate companies, but keeps both her licenses active and continues to list, sell and appraise, in order to keep her thumb on the market.
A graduate of Kenyon College, she has the following designations: ABR, BPOR, CRB, CRS, ePRO, GREEN, GRI, RAA, RSPS, SRES and SRS. She is a AQB certified USPAP Instructor, and teaches many REBAC courses, from ABR to RSPS. In 2008, she was inducted into the REBAC Hall of Fame as a REBAC Instructor.
She and her husband, Jim, own and operate Jackson Real Estate, a family firm which has been in business for 50 years.
