Why take this course?

The Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission has mandated that all salespersons complete the mandatory new license general and the residential or commercial module in their first renewal cycle. For the 2026-2028 renewal cycle, this applies to those licensed on or after December 1, 2025. While these courses are required for those newly licensed, any agent may benefit and receive continuing education credits for these courses.

The General Module focuses on protection of the buyer and seller client as well as ways to develop professional business strategies to maximize professional development. At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to abide by all applicable laws, complete and review forms and other contracts with consumers and recognize current legal issues that affect the transfer of property.
