As the future of buyer’s agent compensation is called into question, it’s important to learn how to safeguard your commission. While the Real Estate Licensing and Registration Act (RELRA) does permit brokers to provide services prior to having a signed agreement, it also says that the broker isn’t entitled to collect a fee without an agreement – and no client wants to be presented with a new, unfamiliar contract at the closing table.

This seminar will review the Buyer’s Agency Contract in detail to ensure you are filling out the form properly. We will also discuss common objections from clients when presented with the contract. The non-exclusive buyer agency contract will be reviewed in the instance you need to use it, along with the transaction licensee agreement and the broker fee agreement. Make sure you are correctly communicating the type of agency you are entering into and learn how to succinctly explain how you are compensated.
